Regular Season Round 12: Al-Muharraq - Kazma 92-64

The most important game in the last round took place in Al Muharraq between third ranked KuwaitiKazma (1-3) and fourth ranked Bahrain Al-Muharraq Kazma was crushed by Al-Muharraq on the road 64-92 . It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Al-Muharraq. Kazma managed to win fourth quarter 29-17 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Al-Muharraq made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Kazma turnovers and outrebounded them 49-29 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Al-Muharraq looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for American forward Nick West (210-1994, college: AAMU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds. The other American import Tim Bond (201-1995, college: EMU) contributed with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Bond is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Al-Muharraq players scored in double figures. replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and added 13 points and 8 assists in the effort for Kazma. Defending Bahrain champion moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Kazma lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Sagesse and Al Arabi.
